Danny Swalley
Shortly after graduating from Auburn University in 1995 with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Danny began serving the waterworks industry as a Sales Engineer for American Cast Iron Pipe. His 13 year career with ACIPCO was spent serving utilities, distributors, engineers and contractors throughout Central Florida. Early in his career he enjoyed success working on high-profile projects with Disney and Universal Studios while also serving as AWWA’s Region 3 Vice-Chair. After a brief exit, Danny rejoined the industry in 2008 as the General Manager of Electrosteel USA. His first challenge was to design, produce and deliver the first new supply of AWWA certified DIP in over 75 years. After 2 years of development, Electrosteel USA began selling its Pushtite brand of DIP in 2010. Now, as Managing Director, Danny is intimately involved with all aspects of sales, operations and finance. Besides supporting sales of Pushtite DIP in almost every state and Canada, Danny also serves on AWWA’s A21 Standards Committee for Ductile Iron Pipe and Fittings, the National Association of Pipe Fabricator’s Board of Directors and WWEMA’s Legislative/Regulatory Committee. He has also pioneered multiple new coatings and linings for DIP including zinc-epoxy and Perma-Shield 431. Danny was married in 2001 to his current wife Donna and is blessed with two children, Zoey and Zack. When not serving the waterworks industry, he also enjoys tennis, travel and maintaining his home in Birmingham, AL.
Brandon Oliver
While attending Valdosta State University, Brandon began his sales career as an inside sales representative for H&S Supply Company. Upon his graduation in 2013, he was promoted to outside sale where he serves customers throughout South Georgia and North Florida. In 2015, Brandon joined Electrosteel USA, to serve as their Southeast Sales Representative. As the Southeast Sales Representative, he has had the opportunity to serve the waterworks community and supply ductile iron pipe and fittings to numerous utilities covering 7 states.
Brandon currently resides in Valdosta, Georgia with his wife Jesslyn. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys playing golf, fishing on the Georgia coast, and traveling with friends and family.
Matt Vander Ark
Matt Vander Ark has been in the waterworks industry for 19 Years. He started working for a family owned distributor in Massachusetts as a purchasing manager. He learned the industry from municipal workers and contractors. After 7 years as a distributor Matt joined NAPAC a fitting and pipe accessories manufacturer as an operations manager. Here he learned the process of producing the items waterworks professionals use every day. Matt came to Electrosteel USA to help guide the growth the company was experiencing. He and his family moved from Massachusetts to EUSA’s headquarters in Savannah in 2014. As the Director of Operations, he oversees the Savannah depot and its employees in all aspects of completing customers orders for shipment. He is always ready to share any knowledge he has gained over the years as situations come up. Even though Matt is relatively new to the world of ductile iron pipe he is taking what he is learning and combining it with what he knows to round out his waterworks knowledge. Chelsey Houston
Chelsey Houston has worked in Customer Service for 12 years. In April 2018 Chelsey joined the Electrosteel USA team as a Customer Service Representative. She is devoted to assisting customers in a wide variety of tasks including, customer inquiries, processing orders, and helping solve any issues that may arise.
Chelsey has lived in the Savannah, GA area most of her life. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and fishing.
April Odum
December 2022, April joined the Electrosteel USA family. She is a Savannah native, receiving both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in mathematics at the illustrious Savannah State University. With her love of numbers, she chose to enter a career field of bookkeeping and has come to enjoy it thoroughly. Her role consists of numerous tasks alongside assisting our lovely Accountant. April still resides in the city with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys playing sudoku, baking, crafting, DIYing, and spending quality time with her family.
Marissa Hires
Marissa Hires started her first “big girl job” as a customer service rep with EUSA in 2022. With 10+ years of experience in customer relations, helping others became more of a passion than a career choice. Alongside Chelsey, she assists with quoting, sales orders, and answering questions as effectively, efficiently, and knowledgably as possible. With many family members in construction assisting projects such as excavation, utility installation and site prep. Marissa understands how strenuous & abrasive the industry can be, so she strives to bring empathy and amity for a well-rounded experience with southern hospitality. Marissa is a South Georgia native and loves raising her boys in the quiet, country setting she grew up in. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafting and reading.
Fran Coursey
Fran R. Coursey is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with over two decades of experience, currently based in Ellabell, GA. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Georgia Southern University, where she earned recognition on the Dean’s List and membership in the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society. During her downtime outside of being a leading role at EUSA, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her fur babies.
